Josh Groban keeps us all wide
Awake with this third album. It includes a variety of collaborations and
influences which end up creating a colorful tapestry which comes out directly
from Groban's heart and soul. His friend Eric Mouquet participates in two songs,
"Awake" and "Machine", which includes Herbie Hancock's superb performance.
Groban's visit to South Africa represented a highlight in his personal life and
led him to seek for African rhythms during its creative process. We can enjoy
the result of his quest on two songs, Lullaby and Weeping, with Lady Blacksmith
Mambazo. Josh sings in Italian - Mai, Un Giorno Per Noi, L'Ultima Notte- and
Spanish -Solo Por Tí and Un Día Llegará-, showing once again how gifted he is at
romance languages. This album represents a true challenge for the 25-year-old
singer, where he has taken risks and experimented with new sounds, resulting in
an outstanding piece of art once again. Please click
